We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineering Manager to lead our network engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architectures, protocols, and technologies. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure.


Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term network strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of network engineers.
  • Network Design: Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Security: Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect the organization's assets.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and implement optimizations to improve speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage the network engineering budget.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Platform Experience: Palo Alto. Zscaler, Cisco, and HPE Aruba
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in network engineering and system administration
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network security.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex network issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based network solutions (AWS, GCP, and Azure)
  • Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with network monitoring tool (Splunk)
