Job Overview:

As part of the alternative investments team within Wealth Management Solutions (WMS), the primary responsibility of this role will be to support the implementation of the firm’s strategy for alternative investments. This position reports to the VP, Alternative Investments Strategy and Product Management. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the initiatives set forth by the alternative investments and LPL leadership teams. The role will involve collaboration with multiple internal groups and require strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities. The AVP will contribute substantially to the WMS group’s goal of delivering a world-class alternative investments platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VP, Alternative Investments in the day-to-day execution of the projects and initiatives implementing the strategic vision for the alternatives platform and LPL as a firm
  • Responsible for overseeing the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of complex projects involving multiple teams and workstreams
  • Drive a high attention-to-detail standard for all aspects of work
  • Develop strong relationships with product sponsors and industry professionals to further the firm’s advancement of our strategic vision

Requirements –

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in product management or leading business management teams,
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (either have or be willing to obtain soon after hiring)

  • Possess excellent relationship management and negotiating skills, with an ability to understand and integrate the complexities of multi-faceted partnerships in those discussions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to push complex problems and tasks to a successful outcome
  • Solid analytical skills, good judgment, and a high tolerance for change
  • Ability to set and meet hard deadlines while being able to re-prioritize as needed
  • Unimpeachable ethical standards, with an innate ability to build trust and strong relationships
  • Emphasis on asking questions and challenging standard answers and analysis

Preferences

  • Experience in alternative investments space
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree
  • CFA, CAIA, or progress towards
  • Experience working in a demanding environment with highly driven professionals
  • Experience with cross-functional teams


 

Pay Range:

$129,800.00 - $216,300.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
