APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Design and develop software for scalable microservices. Building a new notification system to scale for new Apple TV App users. Design and development of new push notification features for Apple TV App. Development and maintenance of indexing systems used in Discovery runtime. Building new personalization and recommendation features in Discovery runtime. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in, Information Systems, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Java
  • NoSQL database systems such as Oracle Database, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Amazon or DynamoDB.
  • Micro-services Architectures or Server-side Technologies
  • Writing REST API’s
  • Caching technologies
  • High throughput system infrastructure design and deployment
