SAIC is seeking a Mission Support IT Asset Management Supervisor, to support the Joint Range Extension (JRE) Program in San Diego, CA. JRE Mission Support is tier one support for JRE Systems throughout the world. Mission Support Supervisor is responsible for interacting with customers, both on the phone and/or at customers locations ensuring JRE customers are provided with the expertise and information required to successfully execute deployed an in garrison tactical data link mission sets. Occasional travel to customer locations both CONUS and OCONUS, for system installations, troubleshooting and software updates. JRE Program is in the business of supporting the war fighter, with over 25 years of experience operating TDL Architectures, providing direct support to Common Operational Pictures around the World. JRE Gateways are found in every branch of the US Armed Forces and forms the backbone of Joint and Combined Coalition operations dating as far back as Operational Enduring Freedom. This role is an onsite role in San Diego, CA must be local to area or willing to relocate to area.
*There will be up to 25% of travel expected throughout the year, all travel will be within the U.S.*
JOB DUTIES:
- Serve as a Supervisor to JRE Technical Support Subject Matter Experts Team
- Provide high level 24/7 Mission Support Technical Service Desk Support to JRE Customers
- Maintain a Customer Contact database, tracking customer issues inception through complete problem resolution
- Manage JRE Return Merchandise Authority Program, resolving customer hardware trouble reports efficiently
- Manages Factory Acceptance Testing of all JRE Hardware and software components prior to delivery to customer
- Coordinate with management to ensure higher level trouble is communicated to appropriate Project Managers
- Develops JRE Course Material, and provides JRE operator and maintainer level of instruction
- On-site customer support both CONUS and OCONUS (up to 25% travel)
- Provide JRE Software Demonstrations to current and new customers
- Assist in Image Development to Support JRE Hardware and Software integration
- Troubleshoot ancillary equipment to include Link 16 Radios, SATCOM Radios, CRYPTO devices, TDL associate cables
- Provide Windows and Linux operating system troubleshooting
Qualifications
REQUIREMEMTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or computer related discipline with 5 years Supervisory Experience, in a dynamic work environment and 5 years of Link 16/JREAP/TDL experience. Years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
- Must have Tactical Datalink experience
- Strong leadership qualities, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in operating and utilizing data bases, Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Professional and MS SharePoint
- Able to provide clear concise technical directions both written and verbal to customers and team members
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Proficient in JRE, ADSI, MIDS LVT, MIDS JTRS, GCCS, Link 16, Link 11, SAT J, SADL, PRC-117, PSC-5
- 5 plus years working in service level or Joint Interface Control Cell, as a military/civilian TDL Operator/Maintainer and/or Graduate of Link 16 Manager Course, AJOC or JICO
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
