Job Overview:

The LPL Financial Institution Marketing Team is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant with a high proficiency in all facets of digital and traditional marketing. In this position, you will act as a senior marketing consultant supporting our institution business and will manage marketing touchpoints with our most important clients. Working closely with the Vice President B2B Marketing Strategy, you will help drive growth in a coordinated, integrated, and efficient manner within this fast-growing area within LPL. This role will work in close alignment with marketing shared resource teams, business strategy, success managers, and have direct interaction with leadership at these top institution clients. This role will drive flawless, rapid execution, and work well across multiple projects to get things done.


 Responsibilities: 

  • Report to the Vice President B2B Marketing Strategist and supports our top priority Institution relationships working in close partnership with key partners across the org
  • Customization of marketing material and content: lead efforts to customize all LPL marketing touchpoints targeting our large institutions and ensuring that they align with specific branding, compliance, product offering requirements as well as feedback from home office leadership at these large institutions. This includes all product marketing campaigns, corporate communications efforts, LPL Research touchpoints and crisis communications.
  • E-newsletters: Owns creation and management of customized weekly enewsletters with unique content 
  • Governance: Deliver a positive client experience through supporting governance efforts around our customized secured website experience (resource center) for our largest clients and serving as a SME
  • Communications Review: Ensure all customized LPL marketing and communications materials are pre-reviewed by marketing leadership at our largest clients prior to launch
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with product marketing, corp communications, and other internal teams to maintain visibility, alignment, and integration on efforts that impact our large institutions.
  • Serve as SME: Partner with Business Strategy and Success Management teams to become deep experts on the Institution client segments and profiles; inform and influence internal marketing teams as needed to deliver customized experiences for our largest institutions
  • Ongoing visibility: Ensure all key players have ongoing visibility into the marketing calendar and upcoming campaigns/initiatives
  • Support integrated Institution Campaigns: Provide occasional support on our integrated, multi-channel content-driven campaigns for all institution clients

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and digital marketing 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, a related field, or an additional 2+ years of professional marketing experience

Core Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to toggle between detail-oriented approach and interacting with senior executives

Preferences:

  • Solid understanding of project management tools (ideally SmartSheet)
  • Solid knowledge of marketing tactics
  • Financial Services experience

Pay Range:

$74,625-$124,375/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
