Must be available weekends from Friday PM to Sunday AM.

Work environment hybrid and when working will be staying at Adventure Club Campouts.

Sound good? (We think so, too!) Here’s what you would do:

• Attend weekend Adventure Clubs family campouts
• Coordinate with volunteer leadership to ensure safety and program standards are met
• Monitor safety and behavior throughout weekend
• Work collaboratively with volunteers and participants to problem solve and resolve conflict
• Represent the Y at campouts with a positive and approachable demeanor
• Research possible camping/activities facilities
• Provide campout reports to Director upon return from campout and provide follow-up as needed
• Follow and maintain standards, guidelines, objectives, and goals of the Adventure Club programs

“I can do this!” What are the requirements?

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• 2+ years' working with youth & families
• Sincere interest in and ability to work with groups of campers ages 5-16 years old, as well as parents and staff of diverse ethnic populations
• Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
• CPR and First Aid certified upon hire and must be from one of the following:
  • American Red Cross
  • American Heart Association
  • American Safety & Health Institute
