Central Software Engineering (CSE) has an exciting opening for a Senior Engineering Operations Manager. The successful candidate will enjoy working as a liaison between Finance, Engineering, Program Management, Staffing, Procurement & IT. This role will have primary responsibility for working cross functionally to forecast, set and monitor CSE’s operational budget. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Engineering Operations, the candidate with lead CSE’s participation in Qualcomm’s OpEx transformation project. Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field and 2+ years of Engineering Operations or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 4+ years of Engineering Operations or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Engineering Operations or related work experience.Principal Duties include the following:
· Monitor CSE’s budget and actuals; prepare variance analysis and management reporting
· Work directly with finance on all budget/outlook submissions
· Lead CSE’s participation in Qualcomm’s OpEx transformation project
· Manage the CSE Tech Allocation submission to Finance
· Lead meetings to review and analyze data with functional Engineering teams
· Utilize technical skills to work with engineering leads to evaluate budget requests and provide guidance on the best use of finite resources
· Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities across various corporate systems supporting or impacting the CSE organization
· Partner with Procurement to create and track SOWs for Engineering engagements
· Maintain and implement dept and project attributes to enable dynamic planning and reporting

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$153,600.00 - $230,400.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
