Join our Credit Union Solution team as a seasoned System Engineer. As a key player in our modernization mission, you will be at the forefront, providing top-notch engineering support and development on building high-performance and scalable systems and applications.

This position can be worked remotely located in the Allen, TX, or San Diego, CA areas and requires 10% travel.  

What you'll be responsible for:  

  • System Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable systems and applications.
  • System Integration: Integrate various software components and third-party applications to ensure seamless operation.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of our infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and system errors promptly.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and IT staff, to achieve project goals.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest backend development technologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the overall infrastructure and security of our backend systems.

 What you'll need to have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Engineering 
  • Proven experience developing and deploying production-ready backend services using Golang, C#, and TypeScript. 
  • Strong understanding of Angular concepts, including components, directives, services, and dependency injection.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including ES6+ features).
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

What would be nice for you to have:  

  • GCP Associate Engineer/Professional Architect Certification is a plus.
