Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Business Management Director to oversee the business functions for the Communications Solutions business unit located at the Networked Information Solutions division headquarters in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Get to Do:

The Director will have responsibility of all financial planning, reporting, and forecasting aspects of the portfolio of programs. This position will report to the division Vice President, Business Management.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partnering with the BU BP to develop and execute strategic and financial plans including annual LRSP and AOP.
  • Financial planning and reporting, cash flow analysis, program financial oversight including proposals, contract start up, EACs, and contract close out activities, and risk management.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for: affordability, innovation, value growth and continuous improvement.
  • Promote the professional development of the business management workforce and foster a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around values, ethics and integrity, employee engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar fields with 10 or more years of related experience
  • Subject matter expert level knowledge and experience with government cost accounting standards and federal acquisition regulations, disclosure statements, financial statements, and earned value.
  • Experience presenting complex information to all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • The willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time to business division locations.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification in business or accounting, including an MBA, CPA or CMA
  • Demonstrated success in developing and leading functional and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SAP and Cognos.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Active Secret/SAP clearance.

Salary Range: $179,600 - $269,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
