Join the Virtual Expert Platform team as a Service Designer Intern and help shape the future of how Intuit customers connect with experts! You'll be immersed in a dynamic environment where you'll apply your service design skills to create exceptional experiences that leverage AI-driven technology. As a key contributor to our team, you'll work alongside experienced designers and product managers to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive and impactful solutions.


Responsibilities
  • Scoping and planning your project, with pre-de?ned goals and boundaries.
  • Clearly and concisely synthesize and analyze both quant/qual data and insights to help drive design decisions and iterations, with guidance from senior designers and stakeholders.
  • Create ecosystem maps, user journeys, service blueprints, storyboards and prototypes that make the end-to-end service design tangible.
  • Design and host workshops to engage stakeholders around the overall experience and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Frame and tell the story of design Present the communication of research ?ndings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Bring passion and energy around the Service Design craft, and help the team shift from a product mindset, to a service and platform mindset.
  • A dazzling online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process.
  • Be comfortable working independently, and knowing when to ask for input, feedback, or support.
  • Be a customer obsessed design-thinker, with passion for excellence.
  • Strategic collaborator that looks at the big picture before diving into the details.
  • Skilled at imagining the future and visualizing service concepts to generate excitement across the organization.
  • Comfortable in both broad and unde?ned spaces and working with varying levels of product maturity.
  • Effective at communication and presentation with expertise conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Experience facilitating collaboration sessions using Figjam, Miro and other tools to co-create.

Additionally requirements:

  • Currently enrollment in a graduate-level, degree-seeking academic program: MDes, MA or MFA Service Design, MS Design, or related ?eld.
  • Anticipating graduation no earlier than December 2025.
  • Residing in the S. during the summer internship program (see location below).
