Job Overview:

The Assistant Vice President, Supported Models will join our innovative, entrepreneurial, high-performing Supported Models team that is leading the evolution of LPL’s go-to-market strategy with new business lines and advisor affiliation models. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be highly analytical, and a have commitment to client satisfaction and success. The AVP should thrive in a fast paced environment focused on driving outcomes against challenging deadlines and multiple priorities and will be expected to contribute ideas and support the execution of both tactical and strategic plans.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a strong background in data analysis to manage cross-functional projects, optimize workflows, and drive data-driven decision-making for LPL’s Supported Models (Linsco, Strategic Wealth, and Independent Advisor Networks.) The ideal candidate will have a blend of project management and data analytics expertise. This candidate will manage a variety of projects, some which will lean heavily on data to inform strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead end-to-end management of multiple projects, from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and reporting, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business line strategy teams, data analysts, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Identify potential project risks related to data, technology, and timelines; recommend and/or create mitigation strategies.


Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Leverage data to define project goals, identify opportunities for process improvements, track performance metrics, and to assist the Supported Models with making data driven strategic decisions
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify risks, trends, wins, and potential issues, providing actionable insights for the Supported Models business lines.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

 
Process Improvement & Optimization:

  • Use data to assess current processes, recommend improvements, and implement optimized workflows.
  • Develop best practices and standardized procedures and/or infrastructures for the supported models to follow.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or similar role, with at least 2 years managing data-focused or analytics-driven projects. Background in financial services is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and tools
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet)
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Oracle, Alteryx)


Preferences:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and business intelligence solutions.
  • Superior analytical skills with an ability to identify relevant data, evaluate business opportunities within the context of a larger organization and present findings in a clear and actionable manner
  • Team-player with a positive can-do attitude, with an ability to both contribute meaningfully as an individual and inspire and influence key functional partners in a fast-paced environment.


 

Pay Range:

$96,800.00 - $161,300.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
