What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop an intimate understanding of the Jack Henry payment solutions and how they create measurable value (better payment experience, improved customer retention, attract new business, etc.).
  • Primary lead to solution definition and review of customer operations for improving business process opportunities. Performs customer needs assessments and solutions finding sessions.
  • Understands and documents, through due diligence efforts, customer requirements, and conveys requirements to Sales, Implementations, and Product Management teams.
  • Effectively discusses and positions Jack Henry’s payment solutions by demonstrating an in-depth understanding of company products, functions, features and benefits to both business and technical users.
  • Cultivate relationships and collaboration with our prospective direct clients and strategic channel partners to successfully deliver on the customer’s "ecosystem" solution.
  • Identifies all technical issues of assigned opportunities, and manages customer expectations, to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
  • Designs and coordinates product presentations based on the necessities and competitive sales environment. Provides specifications and quotes to prospective customers and responds to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Responsible for knowledge-sharing and technical training of sales team to enhance sales team expertise.
  • Participates at user groups, conferences, tradeshows, and other events as required by Sales Management and Product Marketing.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in financial technology payment solutions or direct financial institution experience in payments.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous pre-sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of banking, payments and technology products.
  • Proven success-presenting technology as a business solution and selling in complicated sales surroundings with both technical and business buyers.
  • Strong selling and sales aptitude with ability to manage complex customer interactions.
  • Able to coordinate meetings, conference calls, strategy sessions and agenda development.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Able to make effective presentations in time-constrained situations.
