San Diego's Arcturus Therapeutics has received an upfront portion of a 10 million dollar grant to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. If successful, it could take a year to become available to the public. The grant was awarded to Arcturus Therapeutics by the Singaport Economic Developement Board. They will take a portion of any vaccine sales outside of Singapore.
Arcturus is working with the Duke-NUS Medical School, a partnership between Duke University School of Medicine and the National University of Singapore.
